Weight Loss Exercise #1 – Squats
It doesn’t matter if you do body-weight squats, split squats, dumbbell swings, kettlebell snatches, or barbell squats, a good workout routine always includes some type of movement done in the standing position where you push your hips back and get your leg muscles to do a lot of work.
Squats can burn more calories than almost any other movement, so they should be mandatory in serious training or weight loss programs. And that’s why these programs help people lose fat fast.
Weight Loss Exercise #2 – Pushing Exercises
To sculpt your upper body (including your chest, triceps, and shoulders), you’ll use a pushing exercise, such as a chest press, or pushup, or overhead press. This can be done with bodyweight, resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells or barbells.
Weight Loss Exercise #3 – Pulling Exercises
You will use rows or pull-ups to sculpt the muscles of your upper back. This is important because your back is another hot zone of the body where there is a lot of muscle mass to burn calories. Dumbbells are the best equipment to have for pulling exercises.
Weight Loss Exercise #4 – Single Leg Weight Loss Exercises
You’ll be able to focus in on your weak spots with step-ups, 1-leg hip extensions, split squats, lunges, 1-leg stability ball leg curls, or 1-leg Romanian Deadlifts. Single leg exercises are tough, but the results are worth it.
Weight Loss Exercise #5 – Total Body Ab Exercises
Instead of doing crunches, do planks, side planks, mountain climbers or one of the stability ball ab exercises instead. These are better for your abs and safer for your low back.
Weight Loss Exercise #6 – Interval Training
Instead of doing slow cardio, use interval training as one of the best weight loss exercises you can do. Sure, you can use cardio machines, but you can also use medicine balls (woodchoppers), kettlebells (swings), or even just your own bodyweight (running in place). Or heck, just get outside and enjoy the fresh air!
The bottom line is that you don’t need to be stuck in a gym to lose weight, there are so many weight loss exercises you can do outside of the gym and you’ll have more fun!

How my family and friends finally lost weight.
If you found this blog, chances are you or someone you care about has had a hard time losing weight. I understand how difficult ridding a body of excess fat can be. Both sides of my family have long histories of being overweight.
One of my aunts died from morbid obesity in her early fifties. She was 5'3" and weighed well over 500 pounds. Think about that - 100 pounds per foot! Her sister is now in her mid fifties and is probably over 300 lbs. My nephew is 19 years old and is already over 300 pounds. On the bright side, however, this is down over 50 pounds from what he weighed just a few months ago. His best friend is about the same size and has similar success losing weight.
They had both been trying diets together for 4 or 5 years with no success. They both just kept getting bigger. That stopped when they found a diet that didn't starve them, make them follow workout routines or join groups and buy special meals. They eat more or less the same things the rest of the world eats. The only difference is when they eat, which foods and which foods they eat together.
The basic premise is the foods you eat release certain hormones that either burn or retain fat. The key is which foods eaten together and at what time of day determine which hormones are released. The diet plan shows you what to eat, when to eat it and how many times a day to eat. You eat more that 3 time each day. You don't cut out carbs or fats and you don't have to drop your calorie intake to some ridiculously low number.
I know this sounds simplistic, but it really has worked for them. They stay on the diet for 11 days, then go off it for 3 days. During those 3 days, the eat whatever they want, whenever they want. To their credit, they don't take advantage of those day to eat gallons of ice cream or stuff themselves on excessive amounts of junk food.
The results are usually a few pounds more than what the diet plan says to expect. Which is 9 pounds in each 11 day period.
My mother has been losing about the same amount and she's not nearly as big as the boys or my aunts.
I'm not a diet expert and I haven't been on a diet in my life. I'm the skinny kid in my family. But for fifty years I've watched almost everyone else who's related to me struggle with weight and it bothers me. In all those years I've never seen results like this unless it was a fad diet that just wasn't maintainable. After all, our bodies need calories, carbs and fats in our diets.
I'm impressed with the program's results and believe that for $39.00, it's the best investment in my family's health and fitness they could have made. They feel better physically and they feel better about themselves too. At a recent family lunch, my nephew announced that he was down to 305 lbs. He was standing straighter and smiling bigger than I'd seen in a long time. His mother (my sister) couldn't hold back the tears. It was a good feeling for everyone there.
There is a link to a web site that distributes the plan on the right side of this page or you can click the link below. I hope you or your loved one have the same success my friends and family have had.
Good Luck losing weight!!
By the way, I'd love to hear what kind of results you get, so please bookmark this blog, and come back to let me know what your experience is.
